Cover Supervisor - Oldham

About Us:

TimePlan Education is working with a range of secondary schools in Oldham that are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to join their teams. This role is ideal for individuals with at least one year of experience working in schools who can deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain classroom engagement in the absence of the regular teacher.

Position Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the classroom, delivering set work, and ensuring students remain focused on their learning. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects.

Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.

Support students with their learning and encourage participation.

Follow school behaviour policies and implement strategies to engage students.

Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in UK secondary schools (as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar role).

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.

A proactive and adaptable approach to working in different school settings.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Details:

Location: Oldham

Pay Rate: £100.00 - £135.00 per day

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time positions available
