SEN/Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Balsall Heath

Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with a Primary school based in the Balsall Heath/Edgbaston area of Birmingham to recruit a strong Teaching Assistant for a SEN/Behaviour 1:2 support role.

This role involves supporting two children who have differing needs, including speech and language issues, Autism and behaviour needs. The right candidate must have experience of supporting high needs children. The school are also looking for someone who is prepared to support with personal care where needed (on rare occasions).

Requirements:

Level 2 or above qualification in Childcare or similar

Experience of working with SEN Children and high behaviour needs

Open to supporting with personal care

Fully clear Child workforce DBS check

UK School based experience

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
