NVH Quality Engineer (Squeak, Rattle, Water, Air) - 39953 - £33.81/hr umbrella rate.

This position is based in Solihull and Gaydon, with required travel to the Nitra site in Slovakia.

What You Will Do:

Lead the investigation process to address and resolve NVH concerns related to Squeak & Rattle, body sealing, and water leaks.

Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and suppliers to establish root causes and develop solutions.

Utilize hands-on approaches during investigations, following 8D methodology, including interrogating drawings and models.

Deliver presentations to work groups and senior management to communicate findings and solutions effectively.

Plan and organise detailed activity to deliver outcomes, strategising work streams based on the Business Plan.

Travel frequently between European sites, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.

 What You Will Bring:

Demonstrable problem-solving experience, including Root Cause Analysis and 8 Disciplines of problem solving.

Excellent negotiation skills to promote issues to the next phase of investigation.

Knowledge and understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.

A full UK driving licence and a valid passport for frequent travel between European sites.

Desirable: Experience of New Model Launch or Vehicle Manufacturing operations and technical knowledge related to vehicle engineering.
