Qualification Engineer - Aerospace
Location: Cheltenham
Duration: 12 months
Rate: £70 p/h
Inside IR35 (Umbrella only)

Key Responsibilities:
Testing & Execution: Set up, execute, and report on qualification tests.
Problem-Solving: Identify problems, formulate solutions, and apply innovative approaches.
Qualification Testing: Conduct tests on vibration, mechanical, temperature, pressure, and environmental factors.
Electrical Testing: Perform electrical power variation tests.
Project Support: Ensure projects enter qualification on time and meet schedule requirements.
Reporting: Write detailed Qualification Test Reports.
Requirement Validation: Liaise with projects to ensure correct test requirements and smooth qualification programs.
Communication: Provide timely updates on significant issues or developments.
Documentation: Ensure technical data is properly recorded per engineering policies and procedures. Essential Qualifications:
Education: BSc in Engineering or HNC+ in electronics/engineering with significant experience.
Technical Skills: Expertise in qualification testing, mechanical/electrical equipment, and live electrical testing.
Software Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and technical report writing.
Familiarity with RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, or similar standards.
Experience in aircraft-based qualification testing.
