Typically, this person will be a CNC Machinist working with a milling machine where precision and consistency is critical.

HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business.

Day to day duties and responsibilities of the CNC machinist:

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models

Setting up and calibrating CNC milling machines

Selecting and installing cutting tools and workpieces

Adjusting machine settings to ensure accurate cutting, drilling, and shaping

Monitoring the machining process to ensure quality and precision

Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines

Inspecting finished parts using measuring tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres, CMMs)

Maintaining safety and quality control standards

Requirements Of the CNC Machinist:

UK based

Minimum 2 years of CNC milling machine operation experience.

Ability to set the machine, tools, and fixtures, and make small adjustments when necessary.

Good understanding of G-code.

Experience in composites and metallic is advantageous.
