SEN Teaching Assistant | Year 1 ASD Support | Haringey, N15| £90 - £105 per day | Long-Term to Permanent

Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Haringey, N15, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with Autism (ASD). This is a long-term opportunity for a compassionate and proactive individual who can provide tailored support to help the pupil thrive academically and socially.

Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD, helping them engage with learning

Implement strategies to promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour

Use visual timetables, reward charts, and structured routines to support development

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt lessons and resources

Assist with personal care if required

Encourage social interaction and independence within the classroomThe ideal candidate will have:

Experience working with children with Autism, ideally in an educational setting

Confidence using visual aids and structured learning techniques

A calm and patient approach to supporting young learners
