Senior Early Years Practitioner | Westminster, W2 | £100 - £120 per day | Long-Term to Permanent | February 2025

Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a highly regarded primary school in Westminster, W9, seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Early Years Practitioner to take a key leadership role within their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional with experience managing an EYFS setting to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing and high-achieving environment. The successful candidate will oversee the daily running of the Early Years provision, supporting both children and staff to ensure outstanding teaching, learning, and care.

Lead and manage the daily operations of the Early Years setting, ensuring high standards of teaching and care

Support and mentor EYFS staff in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities

Work closely with teachers and senior leaders to enhance pupil progress and wellbeing

Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and classroom management

Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a positive learning environment

Monitor and assess children's development, implementing tailored interventions where necessaryThe ideal candidate will have:

A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)

Proven experience leading an EYFS setting, either as a senior practitioner or room leader

A deep understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early education

Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and positive approach
