Credit Controller - Financial Services Industry

Salary: £35,000-£36,000 + bonus

Duration: 12 months FTC

Location: Central London

Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office

Hours: 9am - 5pm

We are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our market-leading client on a 12 Month fixed-term contract.

Our client is a leading tax, accounting, and advisory firm, who pride themselves on building long lasting relationships. Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will join a growing finance team in a highly sought after industry. A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join the FS world.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic finance team, managing cash collections and aged debt while building strong client relationships.

Main responsibilities and requirements:

Responsible for managing a ledger of 600 live accounts

Minimum of 2-3 years of Credit Control experience

Reconciliation and management of the credit process up to legal

Investigative in approach

Experience in dealing with complex queries

Posting payments and client reconciliation

Reporting to the Credit Manager

Internal and external stakeholder management

Intermediate Excel - VLU's and pivots

What We're Looking For

Experience in credit control, ideally within a corporate or professional services setting.

Previous experience working within an accountancy firm would be ideal but not essential.

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

CICM qualification (preferred but not essential).

A proactive and detail-oriented approach.
