Job Description

Our client are currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee their ongoing Water sector projects on a contract basis.

• Supervising and coordinating mechanical activities on site
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly SSSTS standards
• Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems
• Managing the workflow and productivity of the mechanical team
• Liaising with project managers and other stakeholders to meet project timelines
• Inspecting completed work to ensure it adheres to specifications and regulations
• Providing technical guidance and support to team members
• Documenting and reporting on project progress and any issues encountered

• Experience in the mechanical engineering field within the water sector
• SSSTS regulations and guidelines
• EProficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
