Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Psychologist to join a private hospital for adult females in the East Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to support a small but dynamic team in a supportive and collaborative environment, while covering a Lead Psychologist vacancy.

Position: Psychologist
Location: Private Hospital, East Midlands
Hours: 34 hours per week
Rate: £60 - £75 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Length: 3-4 months, with potential for ongoing work
Start Date: ASAP
Work Setting: Female Acute and PICU settings
Hybrid Working: 1 day remote, 2 days in-service (with flexibility to work across 4 days)
MDT: Reviews on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical psychological support to patients in an inpatient setting (Female Acute and PICU settings)
• Cover the Lead Psychologist role, maintaining high standards of patient care
• Support an Assistant Psychologist
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team (MDT)

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
• HCPC registration essential
• Ability to offer face-to-face work in the East Midlands
• Ideally, we are seeking a Principal and Chartered Psychologist
