We're currently hiring in Crystal Lake, Illinois to support a district in need of a Speech-Language Pathologist.Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:

• $50.00 - $54.00 an hour
• $3,000 assignment bonus available conditions apply; ask recruiter for details

• Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday. School bell times are 7:70am - 3:10pm
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: May 2025
• Location: In-person
• Details: Maternity leave coverage need for an in-person SLP in Crystal Lake, IL. Service students in 1 Crystal Lake, IL high school, which also houses a therapeutic day program. SLP will serve two distinct specialized programs (Functional Life Skills and Therapeutic Day) and some students with learning resource needs only. The caseload is composed of 33 students, many of which are served in groups and the schedule is already established.
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:

• Master's degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor's degree
• Illinois SLP License
• Certifications Needed- Illinois Profession Educator License (PEL) and IDFPR license
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification
