Job Description:

Currently, we're hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school in Chicago, Illinois. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP.Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:

• $50 - $55 an hour
• School Year
• $3000 assignment bonus for new Supplemental Health Care employees
• Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday approximately 40 hours per week
• Assignment Details: Elementary through High School caseload in Woodlawn Chicago Charter School. SLP-CF candidates will also be considered for this position.
• Location: Woodlawn Chicago
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:

• Master's degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor's degree
• Illinois SLP License
• IL State License (IDFPR) and PEL from ISBE
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification
