Shift Details: • Days 5x8hours 40 hours/week • Weekends and Holidays as per facility needs. Required Qualification: • Minimum 2+years Physical Therapy Assistant experience - Required. • Active New Mexico stare PTA Certification/license - Required • Active BLS from AHA - Required. Job Duties: • Providing skilled treatment of functional mobility, motor function, muscular strengthening, sensation, wounds, ambulation, balance, social, and environmental needs. • Following an appropriate plan of care that includes measurable functional goals while considering patient's psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs. • Providing clear documentation that meets APTA guidelines and billing for appropriate charges in a timely manner. • Perform family/caregiver/patient education to increase independence upon discharge.
