Location: Avonmouth

Start Date: 10th March 2025

Position: Permanent (Freelance Considered)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + £400-£450 Car Allowance

About the Role:

We are seeking a Site Engineer / Assistant Engineer to join our team for an exciting new project in Avonmouth. The project involves the construction of a steel frame industrial unit, and we are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to help ensure the project runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the day-to-day site activities, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

* Provide technical advice and support to the project team.

* Manage site safety and adhere to health and safety regulations.

* Assist with site measurements, quality control, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.

* Liaise with contractors and suppliers to maintain progress and resolve any site issues.

* Report on progress and provide updates to senior engineers and project managers.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Assistant Engineer on steel frame industrial projects is highly desirable.

* Ability to commute to Avonmouth daily.

* Strong understanding of site management, construction processes, and safety regulations.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Relevant qualifications in engineering or construction.
