Aspiring Geography Teacher (Geography graduate)

Position: Geography Graduates within Education
Location: Bury (Secondary Schools)
Employment Type: Full Time, Mon to Fri 8:30AM to 3:30PM

Key responsibilities may include:

• Supervising classes during teacher absences
• Support/mentor students across mainstream classes as a Learning Support Assistant
• Ensuring students are completing the work set by SLT/class teachers
• Manage behaviour within the classroom creating a constructive learning environment
• Providing support to students where necessary

Requirements:

• A degree in Geography
• A passion for education and working with young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Cover People UK
