We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PE Teacher with Leadership Responsibilities to drive our physical education program forward and contribute to the strategic direction of the department.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for physical activity and well-being.
Lead and develop the PE curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and best practices.
Oversee extracurricular sports programs, competitions, and school sporting events.
Mentor and support colleagues within the department, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support achievement and engagement.
Manage resources, facilities, and equipment to maintain a high-quality PE environment.
Work closely with senior leadership to contribute to whole-school initiatives and strategic planning.
Requirements:
A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Experience teaching PE at the secondary level, with a proven track record of success.
Leadership or departmental responsibility experience is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff.
