Job Description

We are seeking Experienced Cover Supervisors to join our team, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for education who can confidently manage a classroom environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise classes across various subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.

Support students with their learning and maintain a positive learning environment.

Liaise with teaching staff to provide feedback on student progress and classroom activities.

Assist with other school duties, such as break and lunch supervision, when required.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within a secondary school.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.

Confidence in delivering lessons across a range of subjects (specialist subject knowledge is a plus).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A flexible and adaptable approach to work.

A relevant qualification or experience working with young people is desirable.
