Role: Project Manager

Inside IR35

Umbrella Rate £550.00

Location: Remote with travel to client site 2 time per month (Edinburgh)

Role Overview 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage various projects within our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and IT project management, particularly with technologies like 4G and ServiceNow. This role requires effective people management skills to lead teams and ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.

Responsibilities 

- Managing the delivery of an SD-Wan

- Plan, execute, and oversee projects related to 4G and BT Links upgrade management. 

- Manage SD1 box upgrades and ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively. 

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. 

- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. 

- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion. 

- Communicate regularly with stakeholders and management on project status, risks, and issues. 

- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment. 

Experience:

Managing the delivery of an SD-Wan project so experience with SD-Wan is essential

Customer facing experience

Experience with high-profile network strategy

Experience with upgrading BT Links, 4G connection delivery, SD-Wan Boxes

Experience working with ServiceNowDesirable

Experience from Public Sector is desirable 

Qualifications 

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. 

- Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams. 

- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. 

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 

- Relevant project management certification (e.g., ITIL, PRINCE2)  

Travel to Stepps or Edinburgh 2 times a month 

Travel likely not to be expensed unless there's a requirement outside of normal expectations
