Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Construction Manager working with a major fit out contractor in Central London on a project due to run for circa 12 months.

The project is valued at £18m and is a major fit out project. You will be responsible for managing the site and will have to be quite an expert in major fit out / alterations and they will include some external works also.

You will be reporting to the Project Director daily. Whilst managing the site, you must also be maintaining a high standard of health & safety while ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

The project is working in a live environment, it is essential that the manager is a programme pusher. The project will involve structural alterations, office, board room, break out rooms fit outs and full M&E packages.

The ideal Site Manager must have:

Have CAT A / B Fit Out experience

Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry

Have experience in delivering commercial fit outs

Major experience in M+E

Experience and understanding of the floor plate of the building

Understanding of programmes and ability to handle minutes efficiently

Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Site Manager on commercial projects

Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team

SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certsWhat's in it for you as the Senior Construction Manager on this project?
