💼 Job Title: Children & Young People's Manager

📍 Location: Pontypool & Gwent-wide (agile working across Newport, Ebbw Vale, Abergavenny)

💰 Salary: £35,000

⏳ Contract: Fixed-term until March 2026 (potential extension)

📆 Hours: 28 per week (negotiable, Mon-Fri)

Your Role as Children & Young People's Manager in Pontypool:

✔️ Lead a team of specialist support workers delivering vital services.

✔️ Ensure children and young people in Pontypool and Gwent receive trauma-informed, person-centred support.

✔️ Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and compliance.

✔️ Develop partnerships with funders and charities to grow the service.

✔️ Manage budgets, reports, and strategic service improvements.

What You Need to Be a Great Children & Young People's Manager:

✅ Experience managing services for children and young people, ideally in social care, education, or domestic abuse support.

✅ Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

✅ Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and trauma-informed practice.

✅ A passion for creating safe, supportive spaces for children and young people.

🚗 Driving licence and access to a car required.
