Job Description

BDS are looking to recruit a number of compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our housing client based in Barrow-in-Furness.

The successful candidates will be working with vulnerable adults within social housing, helping them with signposting support around rent agreement, tenancies and job and education opportunities.

The duties include but are not limited too;

• To complete a support plan with each tenant detailing all elements of support required in order for their tenancy to be maintained including any signposting required.
• To work alongside an individual in understanding how best to provide support through a thorough risk assessment process to highlight any risks to themselves, their tenancy or others this must be reviewed on a regular basis.
• To provide information, advice and guidance to enable tenants to understand their responsibilities and support them to develop effective strategies to manage those responsibilities.

Hours; Monday - Friday 9am -5pm

Payrate; £11.84 p/h PAYE

Contract; Temporary ongoing to start ASAP
