Elementa Support Services is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant with a background in SEND for our client based in Taunton, Somerset. The client is a small single form entry primary school, that creates an inspiring and challenging environment to help learners succeed.

This is an ongoing contract opportunity, offering a competitive rate of £90.13 per day. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting learners with special educational needs, ensuring they have the best possible educational experience.

• Provide tailored support to students with SEND, adapting activities to meet individual learning needs.
• Work closely with teachers to implement educational plans and strategies.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of students' progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Learning Mentor.
• A background in supporting students with special educational needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to children and young people.
• Patience, resilience, and a commitment to helping all learners thrive.
