SITE ENGINEERS - RAIL & CIVILS - NORTH WEST/WEST YORKSHIRE - CONTRACT INSIDE IR35

Site Engineers are currently required for a large infrastructure project in the North West of England. The scope of works are largely civils biased, with bridge replacements, drainage works and line-side civils making up the majority of the associated works. The role have been deemed INSIDE of scope for IR35. Workbank is long-term, with multi-year programmes ongoing currently.

Experience required:

• Extensive experience of working on large scale infrastructure projects
• Ideally, you will have experience of working a rail schemes, but and large scale, heavy-civils project exposure will be sufficient
• Setting out experience is essential, kit will be provided
• Current PTS ticket would be an advantage
• Experience of working on bridge replacement projects would be advantageous

The role will involve:

• Assisting the site Agent with ongoing technical output for a number of packages or work
• Undertaking setting out where required
• Overseeing sub-contractors on site, raising any issues as they occur
• Completing WPP and CPP documentation as required
• Some weekend working will be required, at critical stages of the project

Remuneration:

• INSIDE IR35 contract
• Rate between £400-£450 per shift, paid via the umbrella model
• Staying away allowance can be considered if required
• Long term work on offer, with programmed works for the next 3-5 years
