Our client is currently seeking a dynamic Project Manager - Active Travel to join their team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in leveraging your expertise in highway projects to drive forward active travel initiatives within the bustling environment of the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading active travel projects from conception through to completion within scope, time, and budget

Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables are achieved

Developing detailed project plans, encompassing all phases including preliminary design, planning, and execution

Managing stakeholder engagement and communication, ensuring alignment with project objectives

Overseeing the preparation and submission of necessary documentation and reports

Ensuring all works comply with relevant highways and transportation standards and regulations

Providing risk management and mitigation strategies to address project challenges

Monitoring project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery

Job Requirements:

Experience in managing highway projects, with a focus on active travel
