Credit Controller FTC
Contract: 6-month fixed term, Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm
Location: Home based, fully remote
Salary: £23,790 per annum
As a Credit Controller at Medigold Health, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring invoices are paid on time and resolving any outstanding payments. You’ll play a key role in maintaining positive client relationships, confidently following up with accounts teams and investigating billing queries in collaboration with internal departments.
With a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills, you will handle large volumes of financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Your ability to work independently, problem-solve, and communicate effectively will be essential in keeping accounts running smoothly.

Main responsibilities
Undertake credit control duties for a portfolio of clients ensuring that all clients settle invoices within terms, escalating on a timely basis having explored all obvious avenues where that’s not the case.
Working with AP departments and following up to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
Resolve all client billing queries working with Customer Service colleagues and Relationship Managers to investigate all requests for credit notes.
Establish strong and professional working relationships with billing contacts within your client portfolio.
Manage confidential data in line with the Data Protection Act.
General admin duties.
Contribute ideas and suggestions to continuously improve the Customer Experience.
Assisting with colleagues work during absence.
Requirements for this role
Essential:
Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent (A-C in Maths and English)
Experience in Credit Control roles
Experience of dealing with large volumes of data and financial information
Knowledge of Outlook and intermediate to advanced Excel
Excellent numerical skill and attention to detail
An ability to use initiative and to work independently
You must live in the UK and possess Right to Work in the UK
Preferable:
Knowledge of SAGE or similar billing platforms although training will be given
Knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
