Reception Teacher

ChingfordA lovely Primary school in Waltham Forest are looking for an experienced Reception Teacher to join their school ASAP until the end of the academic year.

The Role

In this role you teaching a reception class of 30 pupils. You will work closely with the existing staff team in the early years foundation stage at the school, to ensure pupils settle in and become engaged in school life from September. Some pupils in the class will be joining reception from the school nursery whilst others will come from other early years settings in the local community. As a two-form-entry school, you will work closely with the other reception teacher in planning, assessments and enrichment activities. You will have regular contact with parents and  should have excellent communication skills to build strong home-school links. The school are looking for an experienced Reception Teacher with a good understanding of phonics and early maths and how to support children entering full-time schooling at all ability levels. You should have a committed and professional approach to teaching with a creative and inspiring approach.

The school are looking for a qualified teacher with teaching experience in reception or EYFS.
