Long Term Futures are working with an inclusive and supportive secondary school in Enfield, EN3, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Assistant. Build strong and trusting relationships with students, acting as a point of contact for their pastoral needs

Support students in overcoming barriers to learning, promoting their emotional and social well-being

Monitor attendance, behaviour, and punctuality, implementing strategies to improve these areas

Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student development

Assist with behaviour management, mentoring, and conflict resolution when necessary

Play an active role in delivering pastoral initiatives, assemblies, and group sessions focused on personal growthThe ideal candidate will have:

Experience working with young people, ideally in a pastoral or mentoring capacity

A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
