Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant - FS2 Class (Maternity Cover)

Location: South Sheffield

Contract Duration: April 2025 - at least December 2026

We are excited to welcome a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to our team who will work closely with our experienced educators in an FS2 class during a maternity cover assignment.

The Role:

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will support the lead teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to our FS2 pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.

Assisting with the daily routines and well being of the children.

Helping to create a stimulating and safe learning environment.

Contributing to the school culture by getting fully involved in school life and extra-curricular activities.

Gradually taking on more responsibilities to transition into a full teaching role as you grow with the team.What We're Looking For:

Experience in EYFS: You should have hands-on experience supporting Early Years Foundation Stage settings.

QTS for EYFS: Qualified Teacher Status specific to EYFS is essential.

ECT Induction Support: We are happy to accommodate any remaining terms of your Early Career Teacher induction.
