Job Description

A planning engineer is responsible for coordinating and supervising the execution of projects, anticipating challenges, and ensuring that projects stay on track. Their duties include creating detailed project plans, reviewing proposals, and collaborating with team members to meet deadlines and stay within budget

Main Responsibilities

* Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules to NEC standard

* Coordinating with project managers and team members to define project scope and objectives.

* Monitoring project progress and updating schedules accordingly and submitting updated programmes in line with contract requirements

* Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies, assisting with the issue of EWN and delay notices.

* Preparing and presenting project reports and updates to stakeholders

* Experience

* NEC 3 & 4 experience in production of programmes

* JCT contract experience in production of programmes.

* Proficient in the use of Asta and Primavera P6

* Ability to produce compliant programmes and narratives for submission for acceptance under NEC and JCT contract requirements
