Job Description

Our client, a leading provider in the water sector, is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team in Manchester. This is a hybrid contract position focused on projects within Water Treatment Works and Sewage Treatment Works in the UU region.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking structural design and analysis for water treatment projects

Providing technical expertise at Engineer, Senior, or Principal level

Utilising software tools such as Staadpro and Tekla Tedds for design and analysis

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes

Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

Participating in site visits to ensure design integrity and functionality

Preparing detailed reports and documentation for project stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in structural engineering, particularly within the water sector

Proficiency in structural design software such as Staadpro and Tekla Tedds

Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and practices

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
