Job Title: Appointed Person

Carmichael UK is currently seeking an Appointed Person for a long-term opportunity based in the Oxford and Buckinghamshire area, specifically within the HS2 project. This role is expected to last up to 2 years, offering a competitive rate of £330 per day PAYE, along with holiday pay and pension benefits.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare lift plans and method statements in accordance with project requirements.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).

Conduct site inspections to assess equipment and lifting operations.

Coordinate with site teams and operators to ensure efficient and safe lifting activities.

Provide guidance and supervision to crane operators and ground staff.

Monitor and manage the performance of lifting operations, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Must hold CPCS Blue card, SSSTS or SMSTS and be able to pass a safety critical medical.
