Job description - Commercial Gas Engineer

Vital are currently recruiting for a commercial gas engineer to carry out HVAC, Planned Maintenance (PPMs), Reactive works M&E repairs and able to carry out minor projects/installations

Day to day responsibilities

PPM in adherence to set HVAC engineering standards of excellence.  

Respond to Reactive Works to include all Mechanical, Electrical, various plumbing tasks and minor fabric issues.

Adhere to the out of hours call out rota.

Correct and timely completion of paperwork 

Provide engineering condition reports and quotations.

Tablet interface via the clients CAFM application & IT literate.

Good customer interface skills 

Qualifications

ACS in Domestic & Commercial Gas with elements.

Oil OFTEC servicing.

Plumbing tasks, Toilet repairs, water heater repairs etc.

Small General fabric repairs

IPAF - DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

PASMA - DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

Unvented hot water systems - DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

AC (FGAS) - DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

HETAS - DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

BS7671 18th Edition - DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
