We are recruiting for our client in the Grantham area for an Engineering Assembly Build Operative to start ASAP on a 6 month + contract, there is a possibility the role may be extended.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am 4.30pm with an early finish Friday, no weekends and 15ph!

The role is using hand tools including spanners, hammers, drills to build workstations and ability to make the station bespoke to the user needs, so experience in fabricating and measuring would be a distinct advantage.

Skills Required for the Engineering Assembly Build Operative:

• Assembly of Engineering build stations using drawings
• Drilling out holes, to be able to place bespoke equipment
• Tapping out, bending of brackets, screwing, and bolting together
• Electrical cabling, looming, and running through cable trays is desirable.

Person skills for the Engineering Assembly Build Operative:

• Ability to work on your own unsupervised.
• Flexible and adaptable to various tasks
• Have great attention to detail.
• Good communication skills

Ideally you will have worked in mechanical or electrical engineering, fabricating, assembling and building role previously, electrical wiring would be an advantage but not essential. This role may require travelling abroad, this is rare, but in case you will need an up to date Passport
