Our client, a prominent organisation within the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer on a contract basis to join their team in the London Borough of Harrow. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth operation and management of traffic systems within the borough.

• Planning, designing, and implementing traffic management schemes
• Conducting traffic impact assessments and feasibility studies
• Analysing traffic data and providing recommendations for improvements
• Preparing technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Collaborating with other engineers, planners, and local authorities
• Ensuring compliance with relevant traffic regulations and standards
• Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of traffic interventions
• Managing public consultations and liaising with the community

• Experience in traffic engineering within the HTP sector
• Strong understanding of traffic management principles and practices
• Proficiency in traffic modelling and simulation software
• Ability to interpret and analyse traffic data accurately
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualification in civil engineering or related discipline
