Key Responsibilities:

Responding to planning applications of various scales on behalf of the Highway Authority

Assessing and negotiating off-site mitigation packages

Evaluating internal site layouts for suitability

Considering access arrangements and their appropriateness

Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective planning and project delivery

Providing expert advice on transportation and highway matters

Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines

Job Requirements:

Experience in transportation planning and development

Strong understanding of highway authority procedures and requirements

Proficiency in assessing planning applications and site layouts

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline
