Job Description

Role: Manufacturing Engineering

Contract: 10 months+

Location: North West

Rate: Inside IR35

SRG are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience working in the aerospace industry to join a client based in the North West on an initial 10 month contract with the view of extension.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Deliver detailed work preparation definition (routings, BOM's, SOI's, STV calculations) for aircraft production.

Ensure that all work and documentation meets departmental procedural and regulatory requirements.

Project manage detail manufacture, assembly, test and certification methods, tools and process improvements, including implementation strategies in accordance with business requirements.

Criteria:

Knowledge of lean principles

Knowledge of aircraft production and engineering methods

SAP experience

Experience working in a manufacturing environment
