Van driver - 6 months minimum commercial van driving experience with references needed

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Van driver to work with an important company in Tamworth area. This will be working for one of the UK's biggest food production companies.

Shift Patterns:

• AM Monday to Saturday with a rolling rest date / Start times around 04:30
• PM Sunday - Friday with a rolling rest date / start times between 12:00 - 14:00
• Temp to perm opportunities after 12 week contract basis

Pay Rates

• 12.30 - 13.45 standard

• 15.38 - 16.00 overtime (after 42 hours)

• Increases by 50p after 12 weeks

As a Van Driver you will need to have:

• 6 months minimum commercial van driving experience with references
• UK full driving licence / No points

Role of a Van driver

• Multidrop work of fresh sandwiches to local shops, supermarkets petrol stations etc.
• Handball of sandwiches and food goods in pallets. This includes loading the van to unloading at each drop.
• 20 -30 drops average per shift
