Band 8a Cardiac Perfusionist - Oxford Heart Centre
Grade: Band 8a Cardiac Perfusionist
Location: Oxford Heart Centre
Rate of Pay: 35 per hour (via umbrella)
Contract Type: Long-term NHS contract

We are looking for an experienced Band 8a Cardiac Perfusionist to join the team at Oxford Heart Centre. This long-term NHS agency contract offers the opportunity to support cardiac theatre lists and provide critical assistance in a world-class heart surgery environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert perfusion support during cardiac procedures
• Operate and maintain heart-lung machines and other perfusion equipment
• Work closely with the surgical and anaesthetic teams to ensure the smooth running of cardiac theatre lists
• Assist in the management of patients requiring cardiopulmonary bypass and other perfusion techniques

Requirements:

• Must have UK-based experience as a Cardiac Perfusionist
• Proven ability to support cardiac theatre lists and manage perfusion equipment
• with The Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists (SCPS)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
