About the Role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2. You’ll have the opportunity to lead small group sessions, support whole-class teaching, and work with children of varying abilities, including those with SEN needs.
This role is perfect for someone who is proactive, confident, and ready to take on additional responsibilities beyond a standard TA role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leading small group interventions to boost pupil progress
• Supporting class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Covering lessons in the absence of a teacher
• Helping to create an inclusive and positive classroom environment
• Supporting children with SEN and additional learning needs
Application Requirements:
• HLTA qualification (or extensive TA experience with HLTA responsibilities)
• Experience working in KS1 and/or KS2
• A strong understanding of child development and primary education
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
