Job Description

Principal People are partnered with a well-established manufacturing organisation who are looking for an Interim Health and Safety Advisor on an initial 3 days per week, 4-6 month contract to be based at one of their sites in the Blackburn area.

This role will be to offer a visible health and safety presence on site, offering general health and safety advice, complete site walks and inspections, keep the site compliant for H&S, provide up to date reports of the site and to be the point of contact for any Health and Safety concern and to identify and establish improvements where needed.

They are looking for a strong verbal communicator and the role is to pay a daily rate of £(Apply online only)/day (Outside IR35). This requirement is for 3 days per week)

The successful Interim Health and Safety Advisor will:

NEBOSH General qualified (or Equivalent)

Have experience within a manufacturing environment

Experience of working with associated risks including machinery , forklifts, manual handling, site logistics

Have a knowledge of compliance requirements e.g LOLER , PUWER, COSHH, DSEAR
