DT Technician Wanted - Secondary School in Tower Hamlets

We are seeking a dedicated and organised DT Technician to join our secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the DT department, helping to inspire and support students in their learning.

The Role Includes:

✅ Preparing and maintaining equipment, tools, and materials for DT lessons.

✅ Supporting teachers and students in practical sessions, including woodwork, metalwork, and resistant materials.

✅ Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed in the workshop.

✅ Managing stock levels and ordering materials as required.

✅ Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of machinery and tools.

What We're Looking For:

🔹 Experience working in a workshop, school, or similar setting.

🔹 Good knowledge of DT materials, tools, and equipment.

🔹 Awareness of health and safety procedures.

🔹 A proactive and organised approach to supporting the department.

🔹 Strong teamwork and communication skills.
