About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled PCB Assembly Technician to join our team in Solihull. This role involves assembling and soldering printed circuit boards (PCBs) to a high standard, working with surface mount and through-hole components, and ensuring quality control throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

Hand soldering and assembling PCBs with surface mount and through-hole components

Following engineering drawings and work instructions

Carrying out inspection and testing of assembled boards

Troubleshooting and reworking faulty PCBs as required

Ensuring all work meets industry and company quality standards

Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

Requirements:

• Previous experience in PCB assembly and soldering

• Familiarity with surface mount and through-hole assembly techniques

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Strong attention to detail and quality control

• IPC certification (desirable but not essential)
