Fire Compliance Lead – Immediate Start –
£94 per hour+

Are you an experienced fire safety professional looking for a rewarding interim role? We are seeking a Fire Compliance Lead to drive fire safety initiatives, ensuring high standards of compliance and operational excellence across a diverse property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as the principal point of contact and subject matter expert for fire safety compliance.
*
Review Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and oversee the assignment and completion of resulting actions and works.
*
Ensure all completed, ongoing, and planned fire safety works adhere to current standards and legislative requirements, including:
*
Building Safety Act 2022
*
Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
*
Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2021
*
Approved Document B
*
Maintain accurate and up-to-date building safety records in line with the golden thread principle and regulatory expectations.
*
Effectively manage contractors to deliver efficient services with a focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and value for money.
*
Facilitate access and communication for fire safety works and ensure proper planning.
*
Audit and inspect completed works to verify compliance and effectiveness.
*
Provide support to the Building Safety Manager in their daily responsibilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
*
Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Building Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field (preferred).
*
Relevant fire safety qualifications such as NEBOSH Fire Safety, Fire Safety Manager (FSM), or Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).
*
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in fire safety compliance within the housing sector.
Skills & Attributes:
*
Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, best practices, and regulatory frameworks.
*
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage contractors and engage with stakeholders.
*
Ability to conduct fire safety training and implement effective compliance strategies.
*
Familiarity with fire safety systems, including alarms, sprinklers, emergency lighting, and evacuation procedures.
*
Highly organised with strong project management capabilities.
*
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
