Role: Telecom Network Architect

Location: Wokingham – 2 days a week

Duration: 6 Months

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Network Architect (IP Networks) to design, implement, and manage high-level network solutions. This role requires deep expertise in IP network architecture, design, and security, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop IP network solutions aligned with strategic goals.

* Create detailed network documentation, including technical specifications.

* Oversee implementation and integration, ensuring seamless system compatibility.

* Ensure compliance with security standards, including SC clearance.

* Perform security assessments and audits to mitigate risks.

* Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs and configurations.

* Provide stakeholder updates on project status and network performance.

Essential Skills & Experience:

* Proven expertise in IP network design and management.

* Proficiency with network design tools and technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).

* Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

* SC (Security Check) clearance is mandatory.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills:

* Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., Azure).

* Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP)
