Position: Oncology Pharmacist
Location: Private Hospital, Northampton
Duration: Minimum 3 months with likelihood of a long extension
Pay: 45.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Start Date: Beginning of March

Job Description:

Trident Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our clients team at a prestigious private hospital in Northampton. This role is initially for a minimum of 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and hospital needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized pharmaceutical care to oncology patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and manage chemotherapy regimens, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
• Educate patients and their families on medication management and potential side effects.
• Conduct medication reviews and adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

• Must have IQEMO competency.
• Proven experience in oncology pharmacy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
