Locum Clinical Pharmacist - NHS Hospital, Liverpool

Location: Liverpool

Contract: Ongoing

Availability: 3/4/5 days per week

Hourly Rate: £28 - £32 per hour

Are you an experienced Clinical Pharmacist looking for a new locum opportunity? Hunter AHP are currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join an NHS hospital team in Liverpool. This is an  ongoing contract with flexible working days, offering the chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to patients in a hospital setting

Undertake medication reviews and support the multidisciplinary team with drug therapy decisions

Ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols and policies

Work closely with patients to optimise their medication therapy

Dispense prescriptions and ensure the safe and accurate supply of medication

Provide education and guidance on drug usage to hospital staff and patients

Requirements:

GPhC registration as a Pharmacist

Previous hospital experience is desirable, but not essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Available to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week

NHS experience is preferred but not required
