Locum Clinical Pharmacist - NHS Hospital, Midlands

Location: Midlands (please enquire for specific location)

Contract: Ongoing

Availability: 3/4/5 days per week

Hourly Rate: £28 - £33 per hour

Hunter AHP is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a leading NHS hospital in the Midlands on a locum basis. This ongoing contract offers flexibility in your working days, with the chance to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical pharmacy services to hospital wards, ensuring optimal drug therapy for patients

Conduct medication reviews and support the clinical team with drug-related decision-making

Work closely with medical staff and patients to promote safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication use

Ensure compliance with NHS protocols and safety standards

Manage the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions

Offer clinical advice and support to hospital staff, promoting best practices in medication management

Requirements:

GPhC registration as a Pharmacist

Previous ward-based experience is essential

Strong communication and team-working skills

Experience in clinical pharmacy and medication reviews

Available to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week

NHS experience is preferred but not mandatory
