Our client close to Matlock are on the lookout for an experiencr Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Technician / Electrical Fitter / Contract Engineer / Multiskilled engineer to join thier team on a 12 Month Contract

Salary: £30 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

Responsibilities:

* Maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment

* Ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

* Diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, and implementing preventative measures to minimise downtime.

* This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach and a keen eye for detail.

Skills and experience:

* A recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds)

* Proven experience in a maintenance electrician role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment

* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

* Familiarity with PLCs and automated control systems (desired)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to health and safety standards
