Corporate Reception Supervisor - Monument - 12 Months Maternity Leave Cover
Location: Monument
Basic Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 Per Annum
Hours of Work: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm
A world leading service provider who operates on an international scale are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Corporate Receptionist Supervisor to join our team on a 12 Months Maternity Leave Cover and lead our front-of-house operations with excellence.
Position Overview: As a Corporate Receptionist Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the reception team and ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and efficient front desk experience for all visitors, employees, and clients. You will play a key role in creating a positive first impression, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining an organized, professional reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead a team of receptionists, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high standards of performance and professionalism.
* Ensure the reception area is always presentable, organized, and welcoming.
* Handle the daily flow of guest arrivals, ensuring all visitors are greeted with warmth and directed to the appropriate departments or individuals.
* Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications, ensuring they are routed to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
* Maintain and oversee the scheduling of conference rooms and meeting spaces, coordinating logistics as needed.
* Manage office supplies, including inventory and ordering as necessary.
* Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a high level of professionalism and security at the front desk.
* Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as required by management.
* Work closely with HR and facilities teams to ensure seamless office operations.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
* Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Google Suite, etc.) and phone systems.
* Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
* Previous experience in a corporate environment is a plus.
