Location: Hammersmith & Fulham

Salary: £110 - £130 per day

Job type: Long-term, temporary

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Start date: ASAP

End date: July 2025 with the opportunity to extend into the new school year

Year group: KS1-KS2

Tradewind are working alongside a lovely supportive primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham that are looking for a strong Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is eager to support the KS1 & KS2 team. The school are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to work alongside the class teachers to support pupils' progress.

We will also welcome applications from individuals with LSA experience looking to progress to a HLTA role. This role is not specific to a qualification but rather relevant experience.

About the role:

Cover a class one day a week in KS1 and KS2.

Lead interventions when necessary alongside the class teachers.

Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress.

Work with the SENCo to support pupils with SEN and EAL needs.

Set targets for pupils and contribute to teacher assessment reports.Requirements:

Previous or current experience as a HLTA or LSA.

Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach.

Knowledge of the primary curriculum.

Ability to work as a team.

Level 3 qualification is ideal but not essential.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.

You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
